Shams Building - Beirut, Lebanon: I have always appreciated the architecture in Lebanon as it always brings me the comfort and memory of my home. One that I admire in particular is the Shams building, a structure created by Joseph Karam. The building sparks joy for me as its colors emulate the brightness and beauty of Beirut, Lebanon. My appreciation for the building compelled me to photograph and illustrate it to share how my inspiration stems from my home.
